The Final A1GP/Lola/Zytek Race
Good Morning World!
I really dislike those hours before Noon — I find it more difficult to focus on everything in the morning — I think I have checked and re-checked everything 3 times but I know when I get on the motorway that hidden thought will pop up and I will realise that I have forgotten [enter something really important]!!!
Usually I get ready for the final round at Brands knowing who is the Champion but this season it is going down to the wire. Also there can be a huge shake-up in the order right down the list of nations.
Sorry to everyone else but short of the Britons invading Kent on Sunday I can’t see A1Team Switzerland not being crowned Champions.
All you Brits get down to Kent and give Robbie a big send off as there is not much chance he will drive another A1GP race in anger as it is time for him to move over [Thanks Robbie] for some of the younger chargers.
This is going to be very difficult for me today because A1GP are trying to remove A1podium Accreditation and if they do then the A1Reporters section will die!
The difficult part for me will be ‘not’ strangling someone before speaking calmly about the problems A1GP have raised — sorry missed out a word there — stupid!

I have just returned from Brands HatchI saw Robbie and wished him good luck for Sunday.
I had a long fruitless talk with A1GP and it is over — they don’t want A1podium around anymore — they want websites that specialise in other motor racing series so that they can pick up new fans and wallets.
There was more but at this time I would probably say something I would regret in court later.
Later Update
I was really, really, angry for a long time after getting back from Brands and originally put A1podium up for sale as I couldn’t get my head around the stupidity.
However after a little while I decided not to let this stop me and hence this lead to the current A1GPgrid website.
I will not be beaten!
